Update: The True Cost of BYOD

[Blog post] Presentation to the Brisbane 'Touch Tomorrow' event.

Yesterday I gave my first presentation at the 'Touch Tomorrow' roadshow, presenting my initial findings from research into 'The True Cost of BYOD'.

You can watch it on video below:

These are my initial findings - I'm looking forward to some further feedback on them as I expand the study further.

One area I am yet to explore is the additional costs associated with an enterprise mobility management solution. What might be required in terms of back-end infrastructure to support it? What are the human capital costs of managing these solutions?

Your feedback is always welcome.

I expect to publish a draft report within 7-10 days. In the meantime, I hope to see you at the Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Perth, Auckland and Wellington events.
