Telstra today opened a new security operations centre in Sydney alongside a second in Melbourne that will provide managed security services for Telstra's government and enterprise customers. The centres will offer 24/7 monitoring capability as well as data analysis. The Sydney facility is built to ASIO's T4 protective secutity standard, and uses facial and retina recognition for authentication and access. It was stood up in seven months.
