Health insurance provider MBF will take its website offline as it integrates its backend systems with parent company Bupa Australia this weekend.
The systems integration project follows a $2.41 billion merger between the companies in 2008.
MBF's online self service area, myMBF, was unavailable late this week, with the registration page advising visitors of a systems upgrade "to help improve the way we provide service and information to you".
"This isn't a site upgrade," a spokesman told iTnews on Friday.
"Instead, myMBF has been closed down temporarily as part of our integration into one business, following the merger of Bupa Australia Health and MBF Australia in 2008."
All systems are expected to be back online by 9am (EST) on Monday.
